Faith That Moves Mountains

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20 (KJV)

A Reminder for the Heart

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming—like we’re standing in front of mountains we can’t climb. Big problems, heavy burdens, and situations that seem hopeless. But in this verse, Jesus gives us a beautiful reminder: our faith doesn’t have to be perfect or huge. It just needs to be real—even if it’s as small as a mustard seed.

That little bit of faith is enough for God to work with. It may not feel like much, but God sees it, honors it, and uses it to do powerful things. Mountains may not move the way we expect, but when we trust Him—even just a little—God brings peace, guidance, and hope in places we thought were too hard.

So today, don’t worry if your faith feels small. God isn’t asking for perfection—just presence. And with Him, even the smallest seed of belief can grow into something strong.

A Prayer for Mustard Seed Faith

Lord,

When my faith feels small, remind me that You are big.
When doubts feel louder than truth, help me hold on to You.
Grow in me a quiet, steady trust — even if it starts small.
Let my little bit of faith be enough for You to work in powerful ways.
Give me strength to keep going, keep hoping, and keep believing.
Because with You, nothing is impossible.

Amen.

When You Can’t Climb the Mountain, Speak to It

Matthew 17:20 says that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. This song brings that truth to life.

Why worry when giants come calling your name? Your God is bigger, better, stronger, and greater than anything you’re facing.

So don’t be shaken. Don’t be moved.
Speak to the mountain and tell it — it’s time to move. Because nothing is impossible for God.
